Katerina Peiros

Principal

Katerina Peiros, the Principal of Hartwell Legal, is an expert Incapacity, Wills and Estates lawyer. She is accredited as a specialist by the Law Institute of Victoria.

Katerina has practised in this field since 2006 and trained with the top Wills and Estates lawyers in Victoria before setting up her own practice.

She is an officer of the Supreme Court of Victoria and is entitled to practise in Victoria. Katerina holds a double degree from Monash University – Bachelors of Law and Science (Psychology).

  • Presented and chaired at various Wills & Estates seminars and conferences, including Legalwise, LIV, TVEd.

  • Series of articles and podcast in CPA Australia publications about executors (co-authored with Ian Raspin FCPA).

2012-2014

  • General Editor of the ‘Retirement & Estate Planning Bulletin‘ (a monthly LexisNexis publication for lawyers specialising in succession law). In this role, Katerina (with her co-editor, Christine Smyth) drove succession law content and quality for the bulletin.

2010-2012

  • Editorial panel of the ‘Retirement and Estate Planning Bulletin‘. This role involved writing and sourcing high-quality articles for the publication to ensure the bulletin was always first in its field.
